At the base of many perfumes, the essential oil of true lavender has a delicate scent.

Found naturally in the Northern Mediterranean Basin, true or medicinal lavender has also been grown for some years in Bulgaria, Ukraine and even Australia.

In France, the four localities growing lavender in the South of France alone represent some 20,000 hectares of land.

This essential oil is EOBBD (Essential Oil Botanically and Biochemically Defined).

This product may not be suitable for you. Always read the label and follow the directions. 

Adults ≥ 18 years: Not for oral use. For occasional use only.

Steam inhalation: 3-12 drops of undiluted essential oil to a bowl of steaming water/facial steamer. Inhale slowly and deeply for 5 to 10 minutes. Up to 3 times per day. For occasional use only. Not for oral use. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil.

Direct inhalation: 1- 6 drops of undiluted essential oil to a handkerchief/tissue and inhale occasionally. Up to 3 times per day.

Bath: 2-8 drops of undiluted essential oil with the same amount of neutral base bath & shower Puressentiel before adding it to the bath. Mix the water gently. For maximum benefit, remain in the bath for 10 minutes. Use 2 drops of undiluted essential oil the first time and increase by 1 drop per bath up to a maximum of 8 drops. Use once daily.

Dilution of essential oil: Mix 2 to 8 drops of lavender essential oil with 5 ml (1 tsp) of vegetable oil.

Local application: Apply to affected area up to 3 times per day.

Body massage: Apply once daily. Do not use essential oil undiluted directly on the skin.

Keep out of reach and sight of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Center. Consult a health care practitioner, if you have epilepsy or asthma, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not expose the applied areas to the sun for 24 to 48 hours after application.

Contraindications: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have broken, irritated, or sensitive skin, do not use this product.

Known adverse reaction: If you experience nausea, dizziness, headache or an allergic reaction, discontinue use.
